Missouri Southern Theatre
Print & Digital Promotional Material

Mission
The goal of this project was to create a cohesive visual identity for Missouri Southern State University’s 2025–26 Theatre Season, centered around the “Show Me Showcase” theme. With each production rooted in Missouri stories and settings, the designs needed to feel connected to place while still giving each show its own voice. Across posters, digital promotions, and programs, the system brings consistency to how the season is presented across campus while helping each production feel distinct and engaging.
Intentional Elements
The design system is built on a shared visual foundation—consistent typography, layout structure, and subtle decorative details—to unify the season. To reinforce the “Show Me Showcase” theme, I incorporated elements tied to Missouri’s identity, including references to state symbols like bluebirds and dogwood flowers, as well as organic forms and textures that evoke the region.
Within that framework, each production introduces its own personality through color, composition, and illustration. For River Stories and Talley’s Folly, fully illustrated posters bring a stronger sense of story and setting, drawing from the tone and environment of each piece. This balance allows the system to feel cohesive while still giving each show a distinct, recognizable identity.
